Travis Weitz

Travis has over 20 years experience in the wealth management industry. As a CFA charterholder, Travis has deep expertise and a passion for the investment management side of the business. Prior to the acquisition of ACG Wealth by Mercer Advisors in 2021, Travis spent three years as ACG’s Chief Investment Officer. In this role, he was responsible for managing over $500 million in multiple equity and ETF strategies for ACG clients. Travis has also worked directly with individual clients and foundations for over 20 years as a Wealth Advisor and Investment Consultant. 

From 2000-2018, Travis worked as a senior portfolio manager and research analyst at Register Financial. In addition to working with clients, his role at Register included doing hands-on fundamental research on small cap companies, primarily in the Southeast. He met with hundreds of management teams across various industries which taught him the most important metrics to analyze in each industry.

During his time at Register, he was quoted in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution related to various local companies he followed. Travis received his CFA® charter in 2004 and has been a member of the CFA Society Atlanta since that time. He has also held the Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 licenses. He received his bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. An Atlanta native, Travis currently resides in the North Buckhead area with his wife and two daughters.
